Wilps Design delivers the holistic overall package in the field of design for fragrances and cosmetics. This begins with the design concept, continues with the primary/secondary packaging design and ends with all the P.O.S. materials required to successfully place the product on the market (displays, folders, shop systems and even product shoots). But we don’t “ONLY” make beautiful and long-lasting successful designs (e.g. bruno banani has been at the top of the lifestyle fragrance market since 25 years). Our strength lies above all in our technical expertise. We are very well networked with producers around the world and are happy to organise production for our customers. We sit at the same table as the suppliers and solve technical challenges directly with the producer, at any time and anywhere in the world.

Wilps Design, based in Cologne, is a full-service design agency that specialises in holistic design and product development. As a full-service provider, we accompany projects from the initial idea through to realisation. We offer our clients the entire range of services from design development to communication on the P.O.S. and production support.
Founder
André Wilps Diplom Industrial Designer
Until 1988, studied “Industrial Design” with a diploma degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts/ University GHS Essen
Until 1999, freelance designer for companies such as Sony, Agfa, Vorwerk, Karstadt and various agencies.
1999-2012, Industrial Designer, Account and Creative Director Industrial Design at various advertising agencies in Cologne. Specialisation in fragrance and cosmetics for e.g. Mülhens, Procter & Gamble, BBi, Mäurer & Wirtz and others.
2012 – Today, foundation of Wilps Design, full-service design agency focussing on all areas of cosmetics (fragrance, care, decorative), from the design concept to the design of primary and secondary packaging, technical development and production support, POS materials and shop systems.
